Sail Global team was also active during the Golden Week holidays. We arranged on 2 days an unique "Wine & Cruise" event and in addition an new ASA 101 sailing courses from 2nd to 4th October. After finished the three-day courses, there were still four days laying ahead to spend. What a refreshing and fulfilling holiday it was.

There were 6 people joined the holiday sailing course. It was also the first time we got female trainees as many as male, including Alexandra, a member of our sailing club, who had joined previous session and came to practice with us again. It is good to see more and more ladies on the boat. Sailing is a sport without gender or age orientation. It is more about team, tactics and strategy. So, ladies, come on board!

Jane Hu is a Chinese working in Germany company. She is a sports fan and she loves to try new things. Sail Global's old friend Franky had talked about our sailing courses with her. It aroused her interest and she decided give it a try.
Barbara was another female joined our sailing course. She is German and has already some knowledge about sailing.

It was a very multi international group. For some of them, it was the very first time to sail and some of them had experiences, but none of them has the certificate.
The wind is great in this season. The tough conditions on the water were big challenges for those beginners. It tuned out that they managed it well. It was also a good opportunity to strengthen skills in such conditions.

They are also motivated, listening good and learning good. It was a special record that there were two people had scored 100 points in the final theoretical exam.

On the last day of training, we had some guest from our members and previous courses. In addition, they also brought friends with them. It is nice to see so many familiar faces continue to practice out of true love. The reunion was full of laugh and happiness. Took a look at marina, it was the fleet of Sail Global international community.

It was another successful course. All passed the test and got the certificate. All of them will continue the ASA 103 courses in November and stay on sailing. That is what Sail Global existed for, to help more people experience sailing and find out the charm of it and to bring people who love sailing together.
