It was cold last Saturday, implying that winter has arrived after weeklong raining days finally ended. Another special SAIL GLOBAL wine cruising event came back and made a great success, same as the other two in October.
The reason we call it special not only because such kind of event is rare to be seen on Taihu Lake, but also this time most of our honorable guests are ladies that made it impressive. They came here from adjacent cities like Shanghai, Suzhou and Kunshan. The well-planed serial sailing activities by SAIL GLOBAL is gradually becoming popular among international communities in this area.

The three-hour event begun at 2:30 pm since night falling earlier in winter. Therefore, guest would see the scenery of Taihu Lake both in the day and at night. As the weather didn’t allowed guests to take off shoes, a pair of velvet shoe covers were prepared for every one on board. The spacious cabin had already been heated up by AC. However, coldness can never be the excuse not to have fun on deck.
French wine expert Matthieu shared practical wine tasting knowledge. And guests could try sparkling wine, white wine as well as red wine which brought them a lot of fun and new knowledge.
The cabin was full of laugh and talk. Diverse nationalities always need a platform to extend their social network. SAIL GLOBAL offers them the chance to build up links. The guests are from all over the world, Europe, China, Africa and America. Lost of them had made good friends through the event.
Enjoyable party atmosphere had given every one a pleasant time in the weekend afternoon. A young lady from UK shared her thoughts about the event later on her WeChat movements and said: “wine cruising the only way I want to spend a weekend from now on”.
Beside the wine, premium cold cuts were also indispensable. Platters of sausage, ham, cheese and paté helped our guests refresh their taste bud as different categories of wine were offered.
The catamaran is equipped with high quality stereo system. Surround music made every one start to move body and dance with the rhythm. Suddenly, it turned into an active and dynamic party.

At the end of the event, there was a lucky draw for the first time. A hongbao was sent in the event WeChat group, the person who got the biggest number of money in that hongbao won a voucher. Vouchers were provided by Sherpa's and SAIL GLOBAL. Winners can enjoy corresponding discounts when they buy things from Sherpa or order sailing courses, events and holiday cruise from SAIL GLOBAL. Remember it will expire by mid of 2021.
