CHINESE MARKETING OFFICER & RANGER (MANDARIN & ENGLISH SPEAKING)

Skyrail is a unique rainforest attraction that has built on its success to become a world leader in sustainable tourism and delivery of exceptional visitor experiences.
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to undertake a dual role with responsibilities in the Sales & Marketing and Environment Departments (Ranger Team).
Using advanced English & Mandarin language skills and marketing experience you will assist in the management and support of key accounts and customers whilst selling and promoting the Skyrail experience, more generally. Your activities will lead to an increase in market penetration and long term sustainable sales growth in the China market.
Applying your passion for the environment and the region's biodiversity, you will also contribute to the delivery of a world class rainforest experience by presenting guided tours (English & Mandarin) to visitors commensurate with Skyrail's Interpretative Plan. You will also use your skills and experience to deliver a range of special interest tours and experiences whilst helping to support and nurture other Chinese speaking staff as they endeavour to learn tour guiding techniques.
Positional requirements:
Excellent communication skills in both English & Mandarin (required)
Previous experience in a Sales/Marketing role within the tourism industry –
including digital marketing and social media (preferred)
Business and/or marketing qualifications (preferred)
This position will require some work on weekends and public holidays. Remuneration will be negotiated with the successful applicant based on qualifications and experience.
