导读：又一起揪心的集装箱航运事故！

据搜航网独家获悉，当地时间本周一（5月25日），中远海运旗下一艘船名为COSCO SAO PAULO的集装箱船在南非海域突发事故！

事发当时COSCO SAO PAULO正从南非德班港前往下个港口开普敦港，据悉，5月25日早上，该集装箱船一处货舱疑似起火，并被要求在开普敦外海锚地抛锚，期间COSCO SAO PAULO轮遭遇恶劣天气，船体发生剧烈晃动，外媒报道事故中有可能造成集装箱坠海丢失！

相关资料显示，本次发生事故的COSCO SAO PAULO轮，目前服务于中远海运知名的南非航线ZAX2，挂靠港口包括厦门，香港，深圳蛇口，广州南沙和台湾高雄等多个国内港口。

另外，鉴于该集装箱船同时也挂靠最大的中转港新加坡港，不排除国内其他港口经由新加坡中转南非的货物有配载此船的可能。

从相关船期资料显示，除了中远海运之外，发生事故的 COSCO SAO PAULO轮上共舱的船公司众多，其中至少可能包含赫伯罗特，长荣，东方海外，太平船务和以星轮船。

具体涉及共舱的船公司可能包含：

COSCO ZAX2航线

赫伯罗特 SA2航线

OOCL SAF2航线

EVERGREEN ASA 航线

PIL ASA 航线

ZIM SA2航线

截止目前事故造成的具体损失情况尚不明朗，但据搜航网独家获悉，已经有保险公司就本次事故可能造成的集装箱丢失及货损情况给客户发出了理赔通知：

We have learned of an incident involving the vessel “COSCO SAO PAULO”, a 2013 built 40,465gt Fully Cellular Containership which was towed into Table Bay today.

It is understood that the Vessel has a capacity of 4,253 TEU and was carrying containers between South Africa and China & Hong Kong when she reportedly suffered a fire 25th May 2020. It is also reported that the Vessel suffered propulsion issues resulting in loss of containers overboard.
