【DESCRIPTION】

Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) is looking for a motivated individual with strong interests and analytical basic skills to join our team. In this role, you will be working in one of the world's largest and most complex data warehouse environments. You should be passionate about working with complex datasets and be someone who loves to bring data together to answer strategic business questions. You should have deep expertise in the design, creation, management and business use of large analytical datasets and the proven ability to provide self-serve tools that allow end users to translate data into meaningful insights.

In this role, you will have ownership of end-to-end development of solutions to complex questions and you'll play an integral role in strategic decision making. You should have excellent business and communication skills to be able to work with business owners to understand data requirements, and to combine data from multiple data sources and projects into stable and scalable analytical databases and business intelligence tools for analysts and business managers. Above all, you should be passionate about how data can be used to improve both the Customer and Seller Logistic experience.

【Key job responsibilities】

The main responsibilities for this role is to act as control tower on Amazon Global Logistics business status by monitoring and analyzing sales activities, product revenue/profit, operation service quality, amazon seller experience, etc. with key responsibilities in:

• Build and upgrade the visibility/metrics to track on team performance against the yearly/monthly/weekly goal;

• Identify the root cause of performance gap and provide insights of path to green plan;

• Build the data model to analyze the customer behavior and quantify the business impact by different key factors;

• Work with marketing team to open up a new channel for market benchmark of pricing and service;

• Support global product and CN product team to analyze the new product opportunity with deeper understanding of the specific service needs by different segmentation of sellers.

【A day in the life】

Connect with sellers via e-mail, Wechat & phone calls;

Talk with sellers, provided answers for FAQ and guide seller go through on-boarding process;

Talk with seller, to solve their pain points during working with GM.

Wort out solution (from available GM product list ) to help seller reduce shipping cost, improving supply chain efficiency and win their trust.

Summarize seller portrait and improve Blurbs for target seller pitching.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with SQL or ETL

- 2+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

- Speak, write, and read fluently in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working with Tableau

- Experience using very large datasets

- Master's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering , analytics, mathematics, statistics or a related technical or quantitative field
