以工业4.0为代表的下一次工业革命将为德国乃至整个欧洲带来巨大机遇。如果说第三次工业革命以信息化为核心，那么第四次工业革命将是实体物理世界和虚拟网络世界融合的时代。而每次生产方式的转变必然带来相应制度的革新。作为制造业和PCT大国，德国正通过云技术、CPS安全技术、信息预警技术、信息技术取证等诸多信息化手段来确保其在工业4.0中的创新领先地位。
今天，中国企业的蓬勃发展正改变世界的产业创新格局，深圳作为中国科技创新国家级中心城市，在科技创新领域，PCT国际专利申请量连续多年居国内大中城市首位、全社会研发投入占GDP比重超过欧美发达国家水平，比肩以色列、韩国。随着世界经济一体化的进程，越来越多的中国创新企业正走向世界，知识产权的跨国保护风险防控在复杂的国际竞争环境下显得尤为重要。
此次活动由中电智谷联合德国著名专利律师事务所MAYR KOTSCH PartmbB、深圳新创友知识产权、广东君之泉律师事务所等国内知名知识产权服务机构，共同举办本次交流会，旨在搭建中德国际知识产权合作的桥梁，实现中德、中欧之间知识产权领域的深度协作。
