11月28日，扬中市委书记潘早云、副市长陈波涛等考察中电信息、桑达电子及详细了解中电智谷的相关情况。中国中电国际信息服务有限公司副总经理吴海、业务管理部总经理赵琮，深圳中电智谷运营有限公司总经理孙巍，深圳桑达电子设备有限公司总经理许聚顺等参加座谈。
孙巍向与会来宾介绍了中电智谷的定位、规划、理念和项目进展等情况，重点突出了中电智谷作为中国电子在深圳的创新平台作用和其强大的产业资源背景，并致力于成为海外先进创新技术与国内产业需求连接者和建设者的目标。潘早云肯定了中电智谷在福田区产业转型升级中央企创新价值发挥的排头兵作用，并指出开放共享、资源整合是中电智谷实施其战略目标的重要理念，也是当下产业协同发展的主要方向，希望借助扬中市和中国电子在智慧城市规划、建设方面良好的合作基础以及中电智谷专业的产业资源整合能力，为扬中市在产业培育、加速及产业运营等方面助力，双方开展更多的交流与合作。
参加本次座谈会的还有扬中经纪开发区党工委书记周鹤军、管委会主任陈军，扬中市委办公室主任姚新春、扬中市政府办公室副主任殷含、商务局局长黄红兰，扬中经纪开发区管委会副主任奚松峰、招商部部长方勇；深圳桑达电子设备有限公司副总经理余启祥、曹艳阳等。
