12月29日，珠海南方软件园总经理张革一行来访中电智谷，中电智谷董事长金皓、总经理孙巍热情接待，双方就中电智谷智能硬件产业创新资源与珠海南方软件园进行技术创新和市场发展合作等方面进行了交流。
孙巍向与会来宾介绍了中电智谷的定位、规划、理念和项目进展等情况，重点突出了中电智谷作为中国电子在深圳的创新平台作用和其强大的产业资源背景，并致力于成为海外先进创新技术与国内产业需求连接者和建设者的目标。张革肯定了中电智谷在华强北转型升级中所拥有的高产业格局及产业资源优势，也是当下产业协同发展的主要方向，希望通过加强园区间的交流，借助珠海南方软件园和中电智谷在众创空间、科技创新资源、双创服务方面良好的合作基础以及中电智谷专业的AI人工智能、智能硬件产业资源整合能力，为珠海南方软件园在珠江西岸的产业培育、加速及产业运营等方面助力，双方开展更多合作。
珠海南方软件园是十一个“国家软件产业基地”之一，园区总占地面积26万平方米，现入驻企业、政府、金融、商贸服务等各类机构 240余家，获认定的高新技术企业67家，入库科技型中小企业69家，已培育出上市企业10家，引进留学人员企业15家。已形成以智能制造、智能机器人、智能电网、软件与IC设计、移动互联、电子商务、服务外包为核心的电子信息产业聚集区。
