本周三（8 月 19 日），夏末最后一场社交之夜在鼓楼附近的 Cafe Zarah 圆满落幕。当晚，近百位嘉宾齐聚胡同，在夏夜晚风中举杯畅谈。有人分享留学往事，有人交流近期剧作，更有人因一场放映结识新友。

正如爱丁堡艺穗节所象征的精神——你永远不知道会遇见谁，听到什么故事，又将开启怎样的连接。

《伦敦生活》限定放映：跨越地域的情感连接

本次活动的特别环节——剧场版《伦敦生活》（Fleabag）由中国英国商会会员企业北京奥哲维文化传播有限公司（ATW Culture）倾情呈现。这部作品从爱丁堡艺穗节一个 60 座小剧场走向全球，在北京的夏夜里再次与观众相遇。剧中关于孤独、亲密与人际连接的独角戏故事，依然深深打动着在场的每一位观众。

Summer Social Finale: Cultural Resonance from Edinburgh to Beijing

This Wednesday (19 August), we concluded our final UK Social Mixer of the summer at Cafe Zarah, nestled near Beijing's Gulou hutong. Almost 100 guests joined us for an evening of drinks, conversation, and new connections in the gentle summer breeze. Stories ranged from student days to recent theatre visits, with some attendees forging new friendships over the evening's screening.

Much like the Edinburgh Festival Fringe itself, you never quite know who you'll meet, what stories you'll hear, or where a new connection might lead.

A Special Screening of Fleabag — From Edinburgh to Beijing

A highlight of the evening was a special screening of the NT Live version of Fleabag, presented by BritCham China member ATW Culture. From its beginnings in a 60-seat theatre at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to becoming a globally celebrated work, Fleabag made its way to a Beijing summer night once again. Its story of loneliness, intimacy, and human connection resonated with audiences just as powerfully as ever.
