Product Engineer

>>Duties:

1. Process and validate product designs to align with official product specifications prior to approval

2. Oversee supplier drawing review, approval and coordination; sustain consistent stakeholder communication to hit project milestones

3. Manage cross-project design review workflows and track task progress concurrently

4. Assist supplier validation campaigns and product testing initiatives end-to-end

5. Audit and validate design deliverables completed by fellow engineering colleagues

6. Align project priorities, timelines and deadlines to guarantee on-target goal delivery

7. Partner with U.S.-based cross-functional teams to share real-time project status updates

>>Required Skills/Experience：

1. 6-10 years of professional engineering working experience, with relevant automotive industry exposure

2. Proficient in 2D CAD drafting and 3D CAD modeling tools including AutoCAD, NX and CATIA

3. Capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings; possess foundational knowledge of metrology principles and mechanical testing protocols

4. Advanced command of Microsoft Office 365 with expert-level skills in Excel

5. Meticulous with strong attention to detail to guarantee precise data and documentation

6. Demonstrated capability to prioritize tasks and deliver projects on schedule

7. Self-driven, quick to learn and adapt to Tenneco-specific internal systems and workflows

8. Working proficiency in English: email writing & reading, daily meetings

>>Preferred Skills/Experience：

1. Fundamental comprehension of vehicle steering and suspension systems

2. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills

3. Able to collaborate and communicate smoothly with engineering staff and management levels

4. Demonstrate strong capacity to coordinate and manage varied workloads from multiple departments

Required Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
