Recently, during the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, BYD's new flagship SUV, the Big Tang EV, officially launched pre-sales. The new car is available in three configuration versions, with pre-sale prices ranging from 250000 to 320000 yuan.
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts BYD's latest Eastern aesthetic design language. The front face is equipped with a 2.41-meter double threaded light strip, paired with a luminous brand logo, which has extremely high recognition. The vertical crystal headlights are distributed on both sides of the enclosed grille, and the trapezoidal intake grille with folded fan elements is integrated into the lower bumper, giving it a full sense of delicacy.
In terms of body size, the new car measures 5263 × 1999 × 1790mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3130mm. Its overall size surpasses that of the Tang L, giving it a more grandiose presence. The tail lights of the car continue the dynasty family's continuous style, with a dynamic lighting effect. Paired with 21 inch wheels, the overall posture of the vehicle is stable and atmospheric.
In terms of interior, the new car incorporates Chinese architectural inspiration, and the center console is decorated with wooden textures, balancing warmth and luxury. The car is equipped with a three screen layout consisting of a full LCD instrument panel, a floating central control screen, and a passenger entertainment screen, paired with a brand new style steering wheel, highlighting a strong sense of technology. On board, the new car adopts a 2+2+3 7-seater layout. Overall, it is quite flexible.
In terms of power, the new car offers three range versions: 800km, 950km (rear wheel drive), and 850km (four-wheel drive). The four-wheel drive version has a 0-100km/h acceleration of only 3.9 seconds. The new car is equipped with BYD flash charging technology, Yunnian-A system, dual chamber air suspension, and road preview function, balancing energy replenishment efficiency and driving comfort.
