Today I rewatched Pegasus and finally understood the true romance behind its English title.
很多人看过很多遍《飞驰人生》，却从未细想：
明明中文名叫《飞驰人生》，为什么英文名偏偏叫 Pegasus？
Many people have watched this film countless times, yet few pause to wonder:
Why is its English title Pegasus, not a literal translation of “Racing Life”?
原来这一个单词，藏着整部电影最温柔、最热血的两层深意。
In fact, this single word hides the film’s most tender and passionate core.
🦄 其一，是神话里绝境重生的飞驰
First, it stands for rebirth against all odds.
Pegasus，是希腊神话里的双翼天马。
它诞生于绝境，从苦难中诞生，最终飞升成为夜空的星座。
In Greek mythology, Pegasus is a divine winged horse.
Born from hardship and despair, it finally ascends to the stars and becomes a constellation.
这正是主角张驰的一生：
巅峰坠落、跌入谷底、一无所有，却从未向命运认输。
人到中年，依然为热爱狂奔、逆风飞翔。
This perfectly mirrors Zhang Chi’s journey:
falling from glory, losing everything, yet never surrendering to fate.
Even in middle age, he still races forward for his purest passion.
天马飞驰，不是速度，是永不坠落的理想。
The flying Pegasus is not only about speed, but about an undying dream.
⭐ 其二，是韩寒藏了一整部电影的少年情怀
Second, it carries Han Han’s childhood nostalgia.
Pegasus，就是《圣斗士星矢》的天马座。
Pegasus is exactly the guardian constellation of the classic anime Saint Seiya.
