2026年“上海之夏”国际消费季于7月至10月举办，今年活动围绕 S-U-M-M-E-R 六大主题展开，包括体育嘉年华、城市漫游、文博探秘、音乐现场、娱乐狂欢和休闲时光，汇聚国际体育赛事、艺术展览、音乐节、时尚活动、文旅体验等众多标杆项目，打造覆盖“吃、住、行、游、购、娱”的全链路城市体验。
The 2026 Shanghai Summer International Consumption Season will take place from July through October. This year's programme is built around six core themes represented by the acronym S-U-M-M-E-R: Sports Carnival, Urban Exploration, Museum & Cultural Discovery, Music Live, Entertainment Festival, and Relaxation Time.
Bringing together premier international sporting events, major art exhibitions, music festivals, fashion experiences, cultural tourism programmes and more, the season offers a comprehensive city experience covering dining, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping and entertainment.

Highlights of the 2026 edition include the Rolex Shanghai Masters (ATP Masters 1000), the FIM Motocross World Championship (MXGP) of China – Shanghai, the Shanghai International Light Festival, the 2026 Shanghai Summer International Music Festival (MISA), Shanghai Disney Resort Summer Celebration, the Shanghai Tourism Festival Summer Season, and Pet Fair Asia. 7月16日，上海博华国际展览有限公司与亚洲旅游大赏组委会正式宣布，将于2027年3月联合打造第三届亚洲旅游大赏水岸嘉年华，并携手芒果音乐推出LUXEASIA 2027 星光盛典。这场融合国际旅游、文化艺术与城市生活方式的年度盛会，将进一步彰显上海作为全球文旅目的地的吸引力。
On 16th of July, Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets and the Organising Committee of the Asia Tourism Awards officially announced a strategic partnership to co-host the 3rd Asia Tourism Awards Waterfront Carnival in March 2027, alongside LUXEASIA 2027 Gala, presented in collaboration with Mango Music.
Bringing together international tourism, arts and culture, and urban lifestyle experiences, the annual event is set to further reinforce Shanghai's appeal as a leading global destination for culture and tourism.

Taking place from 27th to 30th of March 2027, the Asia Tourism Awards Waterfront Carnival will be held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center and several of the city's landmark performance venues.
The programme will feature international exhibitions, industry forums, networking sessions and buyer matching events, while running concurrently with the China (Shanghai) International Boat Show and The Lifestyle Show Shanghai.
The 2027 ICOMIA World Marinas Conference, scheduled immediately afterwards, will further spotlight waterfront tourism and premium inbound travel, contributing fresh momentum to Shanghai's development as an international consumption hub.

7月9日，“世界树之巅：美洲古代文明大展”于上海博物馆正式向公众开放。本次展览面积超过7000平方米，围绕展览的沉浸式体验空间更达10000平方米；展览突破传统断代陈列的线性叙事，转而以“世界树”的宇宙观为骨架，串联起各大文明的时空脉络。不仅是一场视觉盛宴，更是一次全感官的文明浸润。
On 9th of July, On Top of the World Tree: Ancient Civilizations of the Americas officially opened to the public at the Shanghai Museum. Occupying more than 7,000 square metres of exhibition space, complemented by an additional 10,000 square metres of immersive experience areas, the exhibition departs from conventional chronological displays.
Instead, it adopts the cosmological concept of the "World Tree" as its narrative framework, connecting the histories of multiple ancient civilisations through a shared spatial and temporal perspective. More than a visual spectacle, the exhibition offers a fully immersive, multisensory journey into the cultural worlds of ancient America.
本次展览将展品置于历史语境之中，突破传统断代陈列，串联文明脉络，融合高精度实物复原与多媒体展项，呈现多样的沉浸式空间，全景展现中美洲古代文明的工程奇迹与精神世界，将抽象的“垂直宇宙”转化为可感知的空间语言，将文物与神话场景鲜活呈现在观众眼前。
“世界树之巅：美洲古代文明大展”是上海博物馆"对话世界"文物艺术大展系列的第六展，力图全景式勾勒古代中南美洲的文明长卷，打造全球史上规模最大、等级最高、叙事最全、呈现最新的美洲古代文明大展，是“一生只有一次，一生必看一次”的文明盛典。
By placing artefacts within their historical context rather than presenting them in isolated chronological sequences, the exhibition traces the development of ancient civilisations through a combination of meticulously reconstructed artefacts, multimedia installations and immersive environments.
Visitors are invited to explore the engineering achievements and spiritual beliefs of ancient Mesoamerican civilisations as the abstract concept of a "vertical universe" is transformed into an engaging spatial experience, bringing ancient relics and mythological narratives vividly to life.
As the sixth exhibition in the Shanghai Museum's acclaimed Dialogue with the World exhibition series, On Top of the World Tree: Ancient Civilizations of the Americas presents the most comprehensive survey to date of the ancient civilisations of Central and South America.
Widely regarded as the largest, highest-level, most comprehensive and most up-to-date exhibition of its kind ever staged globally, it offers what many describe as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the richness of the ancient America.

国采流芳：尽览清宫锦绣
7月7日至10月7日，由故宫博物院与世博会博物馆联合主办、艺云科技作为合作单位的“国采——故宫藏清代帝后服饰展”将于世博会博物馆举办。本次大展汇集故宫博物院珍藏的清代宫廷织绣服饰、衣料、靴袜、花绦、佩饰等101件文物，以丰富的藏品、珍贵的展品阵容和创新的数字展陈形式，带领观众走近清代宫廷服饰艺术，感受中华传统工艺与东方美学的独特魅力。
From 7th of July to 7th of October, Imperial Colours: Qing Dynasty Imperial Clothing Shine will be presented at the World Expo Museum, jointly organised by The Palace Museum and the World Expo Museum, with Yiyun Technology serving as the exhibition partner.
The exhibition brings together 101 treasured artefacts from the Palace Museum's renowned collection, including imperial court robes, embroidered textiles, fabrics, boots, socks, decorative ribbons and personal accessories from the Qing dynasty.
Through an exceptional selection of artefacts and innovative digital exhibition technologies, visitors are invited to explore the artistry of Qing imperial costume while appreciating the enduring craftsmanship and aesthetic achievements of traditional Chinese textile arts.
作为故宫博物院近年来规模较大、规格较高的服饰类专题展览之一，本次展览中近九成展品为首次离京展出，超过三成文物更是首次公开亮相，二级以上文物占比达四分之三。按照文物保护规范，织绣类文物连续展出时间最长仅能维持三个月，展期结束后需立即返回库房休养。这也使得此次上海展出显得尤为难得。本次展览以清代宫廷服饰为切入点，集中呈现中国古代丝绸织造、天然染色与宫廷审美的最高成就与最顶级的设计与制作水准。这不仅是一场服饰艺术展，更是一场关于礼制、色彩与审美的文化之旅。
As one of the Palace Museum's largest and highest-profile costume exhibitions in recent years, nearly 90 percent of the exhibits are being displayed outside Beijing for the very first time, while more than 30 percent are making their public debut.
Nearly three-quarters of the objects are classified as Grade II or above protected cultural relics. Under strict conservation regulations, textile artefacts may only remain on public display for a maximum of three consecutive months before returning to storage for preservation, making this Shanghai presentation an exceptionally rare opportunity.
Using Qing imperial costume as its point of departure, the exhibition showcases the highest achievements of ancient China's silk weaving, natural dyeing, court aesthetics, and textile craftsmanship. More than an exhibition of historic garments, it offers a fascinating journey through the rituals, colour systems and aesthetic philosophy of imperial China.

沉浸体验世界名画
6月26日，“布里奇曼名画奇旅”项目在上海美术馆（中华艺术宫）正式对公众开放，令观众足不出沪实现一站式打卡教科书级别世界名画，完成一场世界美术史沉浸式艺术体验。项目由上海美术馆和全球顶级艺术版权机构布里奇曼艺术图书馆（Bridgeman Images）共同推出，作为上海美术馆70周年系列重磅学术与公教美育活动之一，旨在探索城市公共美育的新范式、让触手可及的高端艺术成为城市新型休闲娱乐方式，搭建中外文明对话桥梁。
On 26th of June, Bridgeman ArtVenture officially opened to the public at the Shanghai Art Museum, allowing visitors to experience an extraordinary journey through some of the world's most celebrated masterpieces without leaving Shanghai.
Jointly presented by the Shanghai Art Museum and Bridgeman Images, one of the world's leading fine art licensing agencies, the project forms part of the museum's 70th anniversary programme of major academic exhibitions and public art education initiatives. It aims to explore new models of urban public art education, making world-class art more accessible while fostering dialogue between Chinese and international civilisations.

6月17日起，浦东美术馆携手意大利博洛尼亚莫兰迪博物馆，重磅呈现国际大展“乔治·莫兰迪：独白”。在迈向开馆五周年之际，浦东美术馆推出这场本世纪以来全球最大规模的莫兰迪主题展览，续写其在国际艺术领域中的重要篇章。
Since 17th of June, the Museum of Art Pudong (MAP) has joined hands with Museum Morandi in Bologna, Italy, to present the landmark international exhibition Giorgio Morandi: SOLO.
As MAP approaches its fifth anniversary, the exhibition represents the largest Giorgio Morandi exhibition mounted anywhere in the world in the 21st century, marking another milestone in the museum's ongoing commitment to presenting internationally significant exhibitions.
乔治·莫兰迪（Giorgio Morandi，1890—1964）出生于意大利博洛尼亚，是20世纪最具影响力的艺术家之一。他以系统性的研究方式，在平凡的日常物象中开辟出深邃的艺术世界。本次展览汇集来自全球各地30多家机构与收藏家的逾200件展品，其中逾140件莫兰迪真迹涵盖油画、蚀刻版画、水彩、素描等多种媒介，更有超过120件作品系首次在中国亮相。展览以30余个单元精心梳理艺术家跨越半个世纪的完整创作路径，同时重现了他的日常人生图景，以文献、照片、生前旧物等元素，勾勒出一个立体的艺术家形象，鼓励观众体验宏观世界与微观日常之间的微妙联结。
Born in Bologna in 1890, Giorgio Morandi (1890–1964) is widely regarded as one of the most influential artists of the twentieth century. Through an extraordinarily disciplined and systematic artistic practice, Morandi transformed ordinary everyday objects into profound explorations of form, light and perception. The exhibition brings together more than 200 works from over 30 museums, institutions and private collections around the world. Among them are more than 140 original works by Morandi, including oil paintings, etchings, watercolours and drawings.
More than 120 works are being shown in China for the first time. Organised into over 30 thematic sections, the exhibition traces the artist's complete creative journey across more than five decades.
Archival materials, historical photographs and personal belongings further reconstruct Morandi's daily life, presenting visitors with a richly layered portrait of the artist while encouraging reflection on the subtle relationship between the vast external world and the quiet intimacy of the daily life.

6月26日，“书房中的文艺复兴——10至17世纪的西方抄写、印刷与装帧艺术特展”开幕式在上海图书馆东馆一楼展厅隆重举行。本次展览是中国大陆地区首个以西方抄写、印刷与装帧艺术为核心主题的文艺复兴大展，突破传统文艺复兴展以绘画、雕塑为主体的叙事模式，首次将书籍作为切入点，旨在阐明一个根本事实：文艺复兴始于书籍，亦由书籍推动。
On 26th of June, the opening ceremony of Reading the Renaissance: Western Books and Manuscriptsfrom the 10th to the 17th Century was held at the exhibition hall on the first floor of the Shanghai Library East Branch.
As the first major exhibition in mainland of China dedicated to the art of Western manuscripts, printing, and bookbinding, the exhibition offers a fresh perspective on the Renaissance by moving beyond the traditional focus on painting and sculpture. Instead, it places books at the heart of the narrative, highlighting a fundamental idea: the Renaissance began with books, and it was through books that the movement flourished.

开启东西无界新篇章
6月30日，以“百年张园，东西无界”为主题的张园东区首开区正式揭幕，为南京西路商圈再添一处融合历史底蕴与当代生活方式的城市新地标。作为上海现存规模最大、保存最完整的石库门建筑群，张园在延续百年历史肌理的同时，通过城市更新焕发全新活力。近百米长廊串联兴业太古汇、上海华润中心直至张园，让百年石库门进一步融入南京西路千亿商圈的日常版图。
On 30 June, the first opening phase of the East Zone of Zhangyuan officially debuted under the theme "Our Pride, Our Place" introducing a new urban landmark to Shanghai's Nanjing West Road district that seamlessly blends historical heritage with contemporary lifestyle. As the largest and best-preserved shikumen architectural complex remaining in Shanghai, Zhangyuan has been revitalised through an ambitious urban renewal project while carefully preserving its century-old urban fabric.
A nearly 100-metre pedestrian corridor now connects HKRI Taikoo Hui, CR Shanghai Centre, and Zhangyuan itself, integrating this historic neighbourhood into one of Shanghai's most vibrant commercial districts.

On 3rd of July, Yu Garden Summer Fantasy Night, one of the flagship events of the 2026 Shanghai Summer International Consumption Season, officially opened with a refreshed programme built around ‘Two Fantasy Parks and Three Themed Experience Zones,’ creating an immersive summer destination that combines traditional Chinese aesthetics, contemporary popular culture and vibrant nighttime consumption.
星河夜宴特邀嘉宾黄龄、内娱实力唱将李鑫一、B站知名虚拟偶像和原创音乐人阿萨Aza、新生代实力歌者饭卡与流行民乐跨界音乐人钱润玉同台献唱。豫园商城携手哔哩哔哩（B站）《凡人修仙传》《时光代理人》《天官赐福》《罗小黑战记》四大国创IP，推出“万物有灵游园会”，将古典园林、非遗文化与数字艺术巧妙融合。从老城厢的飞檐灯影到外滩江畔的潮流活力，大豫园正以跨越传统与当代的城市夜游体验，为上海盛夏增添一抹独具东方韵味的奇幻色彩。
The opening gala featured performances by celebrated singer Isabelle Huang Ling, rising vocalist Li Xinyi, Aza, Bilibili's popular virtual idol and original musician, emerging singer Fanka, and crossover folk musician Qian Runyu, delivering a spectacular evening of live music.
Yu Garden Tourist Mart has also partnered with Bilibili to present The Spirit of All Things Garden Festival, inspired by four acclaimed Chinese animation IPs—A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality, Link Click, Heaven Official's Blessing, and The Legend of Hei.
Blending classical Chinese gardens, intangible cultural heritage and digital art, the festival transforms the historic district into an immersive cultural playground. 7月3日，作为大豫园「夏日奇幻夜」潮流娱乐核心区的外滩BFC「漫游奇境嘉年华」呈现多样精彩——32只黄油小熊装置限时空降BFC枫泾路上街沿，点燃打卡狂潮；水上DJ狂欢也在北区水世界重磅炸场，掀起外滩夜经济的热浪。
Also launching on 3rd of July, the Wonderland Carnival at BFC Bund Finance Center, the entertainment hub of Yu Garden Summer Fantasy Night, offers an exciting programme of interactive experiences throughout the season.
A highlight of the event is the arrival of 32 giant Butterbear installations along Fengjing Road, creating one of Shanghai's hottest summer photo destinations. Meanwhile, the Waterfront DJ Carnival transforms the North Plaza Water World into a dynamic open-air party, injecting fresh energy into the Bund's thriving nighttime economy.

On 2nd of July, MovieLand · GATE M, officially opened at Gate M Dream Center, bringing a spectacular 39-day cinematic celebration to the banks of the Huangpu River. Jointly presented by Huazhimen Capital and Shanghai Film Co., Ltd., the event transforms the waterfront into an open-air cultural destination where residents and visitors alike can enjoy an immersive programme of film screenings and artistic experiences throughout the summer.

From 4th to 5th of July, the 2026 Sinan Night Party · Sparkling Slow Weekend transformed Sinan Mansions into one of Shanghai's most vibrant summer evening destinations. Centred around the theme ‘A Taste of Freshness, A Sip of Summer’, the event embraced the Farm-to-Table philosophy by bringing together fresh seasonal produce sourced directly from more than 30 suburban farms around Shanghai.
The signature farm market was complemented by three live performance stages, the interactive Big Orange Cat Playhouse, the Shanghai Plane Tree Light & Shadow Art Exhibition, a seasonal flower house, wellness craft workshops and numerous interactive activities, creating six immersive experiences centred on fresh food, shopping, entertainment, music, tasting and leisurely exploration.
Visitors could spend the day wandering through the lively farmers' market before enjoying an evening drink at participating Sinan venues such as Soul House and Bar Leone, discovering another dimension of Shanghai's sophisticated nightlife.

Throughout the festival, Sinan Mansions became a living laboratory of summer urban lifestyle. Live performances, art exhibitions, floral installations, wellness workshops and interactive games filled the historic neighbourhood with energy.
From leisurely daytime strolls through the market, to jazz accompanied by the evening breeze, and finally the atmospheric streets lined with century-old villas beneath the city's iconic plane trees, visitors experienced a uniquely Shanghai romance where everyday life, art and refined living came together.

Guided by professional docents, visitors will discover the fascinating history behind the meticulous restoration of Rong Zhai while exploring the architectural details and cultural significance of this historic mansion.
Following the guided tour, guests are invited to continue their visit at Mi Shang PRADA Rong Zhai, an elegant dining space inspired by cinematic aesthetics, where a curated selection of light refreshments and signature beverages completes an experience that nourishes both mind and palate. From 21st of July to 1st of August, the immersive Chinese music production New Oriental Chinese Music Scene, jointly presented by the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra and Cadillac·Shanghai Concert Hall under the guidance of the Shanghai Grand Theatre Arts Center, returns for its seventh resident season, adding another distinctive cultural highlight to the 2026 Shanghai Summer International Consumption Season.

近日，艺术家刘毅「遇见光语者」公共艺术展于上海晶耀虹桥正式启幕。展览以“咫尺有光”为主题，在商业综合体公共空间打造8件场地专属定制的永久性光影雕塑，并同步开放为期两个月的免费室内共创展厅，以公共艺术为媒介，探索艺术与城市空间、建筑环境及公众互动的多元可能。
Recently, artist Liu Yi's Encounter Light Messengers Public Art Exhibition officially opened at CrystalBridge in Shanghai.
Centred on the theme Light Within Reach, the exhibition features eight site-specific permanent light sculptures installed throughout the commercial complex, alongside a two-month free indoor co-creation exhibition.
Using public art as a medium, the project explores bold new possibilities for meaningful dialogue between art, architecture, urban space and public participation.
8件雕塑作品沿入口、草坪、下沉广场、云上花园及沿街空间有序分布，与晶耀虹桥多层次的建筑景观相互呼应，将“光”从建筑语言延伸为可感知、可参与的艺术表达，引导观众在漫步与驻足中发现城市空间的另一种魅力。与此同时，室内展厅以艺术家工作室为灵感，还原“光语者”IP的创作脉络，并推出主题共创工作坊，邀请公众通过绘画、丝网印刷等互动体验，共同参与作品创作，实现从“观展者”到“共创者”的身份转变。
作为一次公共艺术与城市生活深度融合的实践，「遇见光语者」不仅为虹桥增添了一处兼具艺术性与公共性的文化空间，也为商业综合体中的公共艺术创新提供了新的探索方向，让艺术真正融入市民日常，成为上海城市生活的一部分。
The eight sculptures are thoughtfully positioned across entrances, lawns, sunken plazas, sky gardens, and streetside spaces, responding to the site's multi-layered architectural landscape.
Extending "light" from an architectural element into an interactive artistic language, the works encourage visitors to experience the city through moments of discovery, reflection, and engagement. Inside, an exhibition space inspired by Liu Yi's studio traces the creative development of the Light Whisperer universe while offering hands-on workshops where visitors can contribute to the project through drawing, screen printing, and other interactive activities, transforming themselves from spectators into co-creators.
As a compelling example of the integration of public art into everyday urban life, the Light Whisperer exhibition introduces a new cultural landmark to Hongqiao while reimagining the role of art within commercial public spaces.
By inviting participation rather than passive observation, it demonstrates how public art can become an integral part of the city's daily rhythm, enriching Shanghai's vibrant cultural landscape.

This summer, Powerlong Museum presents two exhibitions that invite audiences into an imaginative journey exploring nature, creativity and contemporary art. 8月4日至10月18日，嘉源海美术馆将推出设计展《那天我看见一把很帅的椅子》，并同步启用户外永久建筑装置《Under a Common Sky》。展览由策展人刘炜棊（Ricky Lau）策划，以19把经典座椅为线索，通过它们背后的都市传说、童话故事与创作奇遇，呈现119个改变设计史的重要时刻，带领观众重新认识那些塑造现代生活方式的设计经典。展品来自Michael Thonet、Gio Ponti、Verner Panton、Thomas Heatherwick、Magis、Zanotta、MillerKnoll 等工业设计届传说人物，走进大师们的成长故事。
From 4th of August to 18th of October, Jiayuanhai Art Museum will present the design exhibition The Day I Saw a Handsome Chair, alongside the unveiling of the permanent outdoor architectural installation Under a Common Sky.
Curated by Ricky Lau, the exhibition traces 19 classic chairs as narrative threads, weaving through urban legends, fairy tales and creative adventures behind them to unfold 119 pivotal moments that have reshaped design history, guiding visitors to rediscover the design classics that have shaped modern living.
The exhibits come from legendary figures and brands in industrial design, including Michael Thonet, Gio Ponti, Verner Panton, Thomas Heatherwick, Magis, Zanotta and MillerKnoll, offering a glimpse into the personal journeys and creative evolutions of these masters.
与此同时以“重返8090年代的葡萄消夏夜”为主题的复古游园会，将设计史经典时刻、童年游戏、怀旧小卖部、非遗手作体验融入夏日葡萄园中的美术馆，邀请观众在葡萄藤下找回属于自己的快乐童年记忆。
In parallel, a retro garden party themed Back to the Grape Summer Nights of the 1980s and 1990s integrates design‑history highlights, childhood games, nostalgic snack stalls and intangible cultural heritage craft experiences into the museum. Set amid the summer vineyard it invites visitors to recapture their happy childhood memories beneath the grapevines.

Bringing together works by leading contemporary architects and artists alongside traditional Chinese paintings, handscrolls and scholars' rocks, the exhibition uses the concept of ‘inscription’ as its curatorial framework to explore the many forms through which poetic expression has been embedded in artistic and architectural creation across different historical periods.

On 3rd of July, the press conference for the 2026 China Creative Pavilion (CCP) at Paris Design Week was successfully held at the College of Design and Innovation, Tongji University. Recognised alongside Milan Design Week as one of the world's two premier urban design events, Paris Design Week gathers leading designers, lifestyle brands, cultural institutions and international buyers from around the globe.
It serves as a major platform for unveiling global design trends, fostering cross-cultural exchange and connecting international creative industries. As the official permanent China pavilion within Paris Design Week, the China Creative Pavilion (CCP) will make its fourth appearance in Paris from 10th to 14th of September 2026.
