Educators' continuous growth is the core engine of a school's high-quality development — and the strongest foundation for students' success. The Affiliated International School of Shenzhen University (AISSU) has always prioritized teacher professional development as a key part of its mission. Through regular teacher empowerment workshops, the school is committed to building a team of exceptional educators equipped with solid professional skills, global perspectives, and strong psychological awareness. In June, the school launched a series of psychology-themed workshops, grounded in the real needs of adolescence education at the international high school level. This is an important part of our holistic education approach.
高中阶段学生身心矛盾突出，育人早已不止知识传授，更需要教师具备读懂情绪、化解矛盾、抚慰心灵的专业能力。我们坚信，唯有教师掌握科学的心育方法，方能搭建安全温暖的校园成长环境。
During high school, students often face intense physical and emotional changes — so teaching today goes far beyond knowledge delivery. Teachers need professional skills to read emotions, resolve conflicts, and offer genuine emotional support. We firmly believe that only when teachers master scientific mental health methods can we build a safe and warm campus environment for students.
This workshop series invited two industry experts to guide the sessions, combining theoretical depth with practical, actionable tools.
彭端华老师围绕校园冲突化解与教师自我关怀展开分享，结合高中生身心发展特点，梳理同伴、亲子、师生冲突标准化处置思路，同时分享缓解职业内耗、疏导工作压力的实用方法。
Mr. Peng focused on conflict resolution on campus and teacher self-care. Based on the developmental characteristics of high school students, he shared standardized approaches to handling peer, parent-child, and teacher-student conflicts. He also introduced practical methods to reduce occupational burnout and manage work-related stress.
张澜教授从情绪底层机制切入，拆解师生谈心谈话核心技术，系统讲解积极关注、共情倾听、真诚沟通三大能力，引导教师告别说教式沟通，构建平等互信的师生关系。
Professor Zhang approached from the perspective of emotional mechanisms, breaking down the core skills of meaningful teacher-student conversations. She systematically explained three key competencies — active attention, empathic listening, and sincere communication — guiding teachers to move beyond lecturing and instead build equal, trust-based relationships with students.
两场分享案例鲜活、工具落地，参训教师全程沉浸式学习，既破解班级管理、家校沟通中的各类难题，也完成自我情绪疏导与心灵休整。老师们纷纷表示，本次研修既是专业能力充电，也是一场温暖的心灵疗愈。
Both sessions featured real-life cases and practical tools. Teachers were fully engaged, gaining valuable insights for class management and parent communication, while also participating in self-care and emotional reflection. Many teachers said this workshop was not only a professional boost but also a warm healing experience for the heart.
未来，学校将持续推出多元化教师成长研修活动，以专业、有温度的师资团队，陪伴每一位学子向阳成长，奔赴兼具中国根基与全球视野的广阔未来。
