6月12日，2026中国光谷3551国际创业大赛启动，面向全球创业者开放报名。
On 12 June, the 2026 Optics Valley of China 3551 International Entrepreneurship Competition was launched, with registration open to entrepreneurs worldwide.
本届大赛以“聚光谷，创未来”为主题，大赛总奖金池达1250万元，其中巅峰十强每人可获100万元奖金，直接认定为“3551创业人才”，5年内可获得最高6000万元综合支持。
Under the theme ‘Gather in Optics Valley, Create the Future’, the competition boasts a total prize fund of 12.5 million yuan. The top ten finalists will each receive a prize of 1 million yuan and be directly recognised as ‘3551 Entrepreneurial Talents’, eligible for up to 60 million yuan in comprehensive support over a five-year period.
50名优胜奖获得者可获5万元奖励，获奖项目纳入东湖高新区创业人才后备库，提供路演投决、差旅资助、财税服务、CEO特训班、每月资本对接等服务。
The 50 winners of the Excellence Award will each receive 50,000 yuan; their projects will be included in the East Lake High-Tech Zone’s reserve pool of entrepreneurial talent, and they will be provided with services such as pitch-to-investment decision-making support, travel subsidies, financial and tax services, CEO training programmes, and monthly capital matchmaking sessions.
此外，无论机构还是个人，都能注册成为大赛荐才官，推荐项目获奖并在光谷注册公司，每个项目奖励5000元。
Furthermore, both organisations and individuals may register as ‘Talent Ambassadors’ for the competition; those who recommend projects that go on to win awards and register a company in Optics Valley will receive a reward of 5,000 yuan per project.
赛区设置上，大赛延续“立足光谷、辐射全国、链接全球”的布局思路，设立京津冀、长三角、粤港澳、欧洲四大区域赛区，长飞光纤、九峰山实验室、人福医药、数传集团分别冠名光电子信息、集成电路、生命健康、人工智能四大产业赛区，并参与项目评选。
In terms of regional organisation, the competition continues to follow the strategic approach of “rooted in Optics Valley, extending nationwide, and connecting globally”, establishing four major regional divisions: Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao, and Europe. Changfei Optical Fibre, Jiufengshan Laboratory, Renfu Pharmaceuticals and Shuchuan Group will respectively serve as title sponsors for the four industry divisions—Optoelectronics and Information Technology, Integrated Circuits, Life Sciences and Healthcare, and Artificial Intelligence—and will participate in the project evaluation process.
为精准匹配不同阶段创业项目的成长需求，大赛分设初创组和成长组两个参赛类别。初创组主要面向尚未注册公司或注册公司未满1年的早期创业团队，成长组则面向成立1至5年、已形成成熟商业模式且具备一定市场规模的创业企业。
To precisely match the growth needs of start-ups at different stages, the competition is divided into two categories: the Start-up Group and the Growth Group. The Start-up Group is primarily aimed at early-stage start-up teams that have not yet registered a company or whose company has been registered for less than one year, whilst the Growth Group is aimed at start-ups established for between one and five years that have developed a mature business model and achieved a certain market scale.
赛程安排上，即日起至7月底为项目征集期，参赛者可登录“光谷人网”（www.ovc-talent.com）在线提交报名材料。8月完成初评工作，9月各分赛区陆续举行初赛，10月进行综合复赛，11-12月将在光谷举行总决赛。
Regarding the competition schedule, the project submission period runs from now until the end of July; participants may log on to the ‘Optics Valley People’ website (www.ovc-talent.com) to submit their application materials online. The preliminary assessment will be completed in August, with preliminary rounds taking place across various sub-competition zones in September. The comprehensive semi-finals will be held in October, followed by the grand final in Optics Valley between November and December.

作为光谷引才聚才的标志性品牌活动，3551国际创业大赛自2016年创办以来已连续举办十届，累计吸引来自全球16个国家和地区的5600余个创业项目参赛，成功推动430余个优质项目落地光谷发展。近5年，大赛落地项目获得股权融资金额超20亿元，涌现出聚芯微电子、华引芯、唯柯医疗、慧观生物等一批人才创业知名企业。
As a flagship event for attracting and retaining talent in Optics Valley, the 3551 International Entrepreneurship Competition has been held for ten consecutive years since its inception in 2016. It has attracted more than 5,600 entrepreneurial projects from 16 countries and regions worldwide, successfully facilitating the establishment of over 430 high-quality projects in Optics Valley. Over the past five years, projects emerging from the competition have secured equity financing totalling over 2 billion yuan, giving rise to a number of well-known talent-led start-ups such as Juxin Microelectronics, Huayinxin, Weike Medical and Huiguan Biotechnology.
活动现场，鄂港青年人才光谷行活动同步举行，50余名香港青年人才与光谷创业代表齐聚一堂，围绕创新创业话题展开深入交流。
At the event, the ‘Hubei–Hong Kong Youth Talent Visit to Optics Valley’ was held concurrently, bringing together more than 50 young professionals from Hong Kong and entrepreneurs from Optics Valley for in-depth discussions on innovation and entrepreneurship.
