We're pleased to share with you the latest update regarding Lufthansa Cargo's digitalization features:
Lufthansa Cargo has expanded the RRR booking bandwidth upper limit to 15,000kg (chargeable weight) for cargo departing from Beijing with immediate effective. This enhancement, which also applies to shipments from Shanghai and Chengdu, is part of our ongoing efforts to make our digital booking more attractive and to further simplify the booking process for our customers.
In addition, Dangerous Goods (DGR) becomes also the product that RRR can automatically quote spot prices effective 1st July 2026 (according to LAT time). By then you may obtain automatically generated spot prices on below products:
• General Cargo
• Perishables (excl.toDoor)
• Passive Temp Support
• Vulnerables*
• Live Animals - hatching eggs only
• Dangerous Goods**
*Vulnerables: The following vulnerable commodities are not eBookable due to specific regulations: Vulnerable Weapons, Human Remains in Coffins, Cannabidiol Oils, Flowers/Buds, Marijuana Seeds and Medical Marijuana MMU.
**Dangerous Goods: The following DGR classes, commodities, and products are not eBookable: DGR toDoor, Active Temp Control containing DGR, Aircraft Engines containing DGR, DGR Class 1, Special Provision / Governmental Authorization required, Valuables (DGR), Vehicles containing DGR, War Weapons Control Act (KWKG).
The agent must comply with Lufthansa Cargo’s safety requirements for the transportation of dangerous goods (DGR) in order to book RRR spot prices on DGR products.
