FAW Bestune has officially announced that its all-new flagship sedan, the Yuyi 08, will make its official debut on July 12. Pre-orders for the vehicle have already opened, with six trim levels available across the lineup. Pre-sale prices range from 104,900 yuan to 144,900 yuan, and the model offers both all-electric and extended-range powertrain options.
Exterior Design
The sedan adopts the brand’s new family design language. Its front fascia features a Starfall Waterfall light assembly composed of 216 LED light sources, which supports six intelligent light show modes for a strong tech-forward aesthetic. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,920 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width and 1,475 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm.
The side profile prioritizes low wind resistance, equipped with frameless power suction doors, semi-flush door handles and low-drag side mirrors. At the rear, a full-width taillight strip pairs with an electric liftback hatch, blending sporty styling with practicality.
Interior Layout
The cockpit is fitted with an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch central control touchscreen. The system runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip and the Ruyi OS operating system, compatible with AI large models, intelligent voice control, HUAWEI HiCar and Carlink mobile interconnection, delivering comprehensive functionality.
Powertrain Performance
All variants come standard with a rear-mounted single electric motor. The all-electric lineup offers two battery configurations, delivering CLTC ranges of 565 km and 650 km respectively. The extended-range version is fitted with a 1.5L range-extender engine. It boasts a pure-electric driving range of 240 km and a combined comprehensive range of up to 1,765 km.
