OOCL Wisdom, the world's largest methanol dual-fuel container vesselindependently developed by China, started its maiden voyage from Qingdao Port on July 3. The vessel measures 399.99 metersin length, 61.3 metersin beam and 33.2 meters in depth, with the largest capacity of 24,168 TEUs. Completing the loading operations of over 3,000 TEUs and 1,500 tons of ship-to-ship methanol bunkering operation at the port, the vessel sail toward key ports in Nordic, joining the Qingdao-Europe container service.
The wind farm at Rizhao Port'sLanshan port area was successfully connected to the power gridon July 1, becoming theone with the largestcombined installed capacity across SPG.This project isa vivid practice of Rizhao Port'sefforts toimplement the national dual carbon strategy and marks a milestone in advancing the port's green and low-carbon transition. Equipped with five wind turbineswitha total installed capacity of 33.5 megawatts, the wind farm generates over 80 million kWhper year and reduces carbon emissions by62,100 tonsannually.
On June 26, the smart parking lot project at Weifang Port was completed and put into operation. Centering on boosting the quality and efficiency of port logistics, upgrading public convenience services and advancing green and low-carbon development, the project has built a comprehensive intelligent ecological logistics park integrating smart parking, logistics office work, freight services, container transshipment and green energy supply. It effectively addresses bottlenecks and pain points in port logistics transportation, fully empoweringthe intelligent, eco-friendly and high-efficiency transformation and upgrading of Weifang Port.
A reefer rail freight loaded with 102 TEUs of Jinxiang garlicdeparted from Longgong Port in Jining, bound for Qingdao Port, waiting to be shipped to Southeast Asia. This marks the first Jining- Qingdao Port cold-chain freight trainjointly developed by SPG Logistics Group and Jining's Longgong Port, providing a new maritime corridor for exporting specialty agricultural products from the Southwest of Shandong.
The vessel "MARIA"carrying40-foot containerized fans and various mechanical equipment recently set sail from the Port of Shanghai, bound for the construction site of Singapore's tallest building project on Shenton Way.The shipment marks the first end-to-end logistics service directly supplied to Singapore by SPG's Southeast Asia arm. It also represents a new breakthrough for SPGOverseas Development Group in delivering specialized, integrated full-chain logistics services to the Southeast Asian island state.
