To improve capabilities in commercial management of overseas projects and strengthen risk control for the performance of international projects, the Marketing Center organized special training on FIDIC Contracts and international business practices. Closely aligned with real-world overseas business scenarios, the training elaborated on core differences, key clauses and applicable scenarios of different versions of FIDIC Contracts to address knowledge gaps in international contract management. Combined with numerous cases of overseas projects, the sessions systematically explained practical procedures and key skills for identifying risks in international engineering contracts, managing claims throughout project cycles and resolving cross-border disputes, as well as core rules of international business operations and cross-cultural communication. Based on on-the-job experience, participants conducted in-depth discussions on key links including project bidding, contract negotiation and on-site performance. The training integrated theoretical knowledge with frontline practices, effectively improving employees' ability to interpret contract documents, predict commercial risks and handle emergencies.

Centering on the core demand of preventing legal risks in overseas projects, the Legal Affairs Department delivered special training on foreign-related legal practices based on typical domestic and international engineering law cases in recent years. Focusing on major legal difficulties in overseas engineering business, the training covered practical issues such as force majeure, war risks, contractual notification obligations, termination rights and dispute resolution. With reference to the latest typical precedents in the UK and Commonwealth countries, trainers analyzed the determination of causal relations for force majeure, definition of reasonable obligation to make efforts and failure of concurrent cause defense. Detailed operational standards were also specified regarding termination rights, prior notifications, joint venture performance in good faith and consistency of contract documents under FIDIC Contracts. To strengthen the team's capability in exchange rate risk management and meet the development needs of overseas business, the Finance Department held special training on exchange rate risk prevention and control as well as hedging instruments. Against the backdrop of two-way fluctuations of the RMB exchange rate becoming the new normal, the training systematically illustrated classifications of exchange rate risks, risk-neutral management concepts, application of various foreign exchange derivatives, hedging strategies and key operational points with reference to professional guidelines. The training focused on core contents including drawing modeling skills, software operation optimization, cost review and report generation. 项目管理部为落实“品质履约、高效执行”管理理念,推进境外项目管理规范化建设,组织开展专题培训。培训聚焦海外项目管理提质增效核心目标,围绕境外分包资源平台搭建、境外国别《工程项目管理手册》编制与落地等内容开展系统化讲解。立足阿尔及利亚项目实际,结合属地在建项目施工管控难点、现场履约痛点及已完项目优秀经验开展深度专题研讨。参会人员结合属地政策环境、现场施工实际及海外项目管理特点建言献策,梳理优化举措,进一步明晰了境外分包资源筛选审核、施工现场标准化管控、属地化管理手册修订完善与落地执行等工作思路、标准规范及具体实施要点,为阿尔及利亚区域项目规范化、精细化、属地化管理筑牢管理根基。

To implement the management philosophy of high-quality performance and efficient execution and standardize the management of overseas projects, the Project Management Department carried out special training. The training clarified working ideas, standards and implementation requirements for subcontractor screening and review, standardized on-site construction management, as well as revision and implementation of localized management manuals, laying a solid management foundation for standardized, refined and localized operation of projects in Algeria.
