About the Role
We are hiring an experienced and commercially strong Director, Advertiser Sales to expand and drive VEVE & Siteplug’s advertiser business in the China region. This role blends strategy with hands-on execution and requires a relationship-centric seller with deep knowledge of the mobile ecosystem — including OEM advertising, affiliate marketing, performance marketing, DSPs, and MMPs (Appsflyer, Branch, Adjust).
The candidate will own the full revenue cycle; identifying and closing new business, developing key client and agency relationships, crafting marketing plans, and ensuring campaigns deliver to goal. Expertise in digital marketing solutions is essential, and experience with OEM mobile advertising will be a strong advantage.
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in digital ad sales, strong work discipline, excellent communication skills (English required), and the ability to consistently deliver on revenue targets while partnering crossfunctionally with Product, Operations, Supply, and Leadership teams.
Roles & Responsibility
Revenue Ownership & Market Expansion
Own and deliver VEVE & Siteplug’s sales and revenue targets for China.
Build and grow a strong advertiser pipeline across performance, brand, affiliate and OEM-led mobile opportunities.
Drive sustained revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
Develop sales plans, GTM strategies, vertical penetration frameworks, and structured agency/brand outreach.
Agency & Client Relationship Leadership
Develop and nurture strategic relationships with leading clients, media buying agencies and platforms across China.
Maintain consistent engagement with senior decision-makers and mobile marketing leaders to drive long-term partnerships.
Build and expand direct relationships with advertisers across key app-first sectors including eCommerce, BFSI, mobility, gaming, fintech, and entertainment.
Focus on acquiring and supporting clients and sub-agencies seeking user acquisition opportunities in overseas markets, including the US, Europe, LATAM, India, and Southeast Asia.
Lead new business pitches, RFP responses, commercial negotiations, Joint Business Plans (JBPs), and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to drive revenue growth and partnership expansion.
Solution Selling & Product Expertise
Demonstrate expertise across affiliate marketing, OEM mobile advertising, DSP offerings, programmatic buying, and app-install performance marketing.
Translate advertiser objectives into VEVE & Siteplug -led solutions with measurable outcomes.
Collaborate with Supply, Product, and Tech teams to recommend formats, inventory, and optimization paths.
Provide structured feedback to evolve VEVE’s & Siteplug’s offering for the China market.
Campaign Delivery Excellence
Partner closely with Account Management & Operations teams to ensure accurate setup, pacing, optimization, and reporting.
Monitor performance and proactively recommend improvements to maximise client ROI.
Troubleshoot challenges and ensure campaign KPIs and delivery timelines are met.
Sales Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Prepare compelling proposals, sales narratives, and performance decks.
Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM hygiene.
Align with Product, Operations, Publisher Supply, Finance, and Leadership teams to unlock new revenue streams.
Required Skills
8+ years of leadership experience in digital advertising sales, mobile performance marketing, affiliate marketing and the OEM/DSP ecosystem, driving large-scale revenue growth within the AdTech industry.
Deeply established network across China’s leading media agencies, trading desks, and digital-first brands, with a proven ability to influence key stakeholders and unlock strategic partnerships.
Comprehensive understanding of the global affiliate marketing landscape, including agency and sub-agency ecosystems managing overseas affiliate and app marketing campaigns.
Consistent track record of exceeding ambitious revenue targets and scaling high-growth markets through strategic sales leadership and business development.
Extensive experience leading the commercialization of app-install, OEM, DSP, and performance marketing solutions for enterprise advertisers and agencies.
Advanced expertise in Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) such as Appsflyer, Branch, and Adjust, with strong command of attribution models and performance optimization frameworks.
Strategic communicator and storyteller with exceptional presentation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and CXO-level decision-makers. Professional fluency in English.
Strong commercial leadership with a high-ownership mindset, capable of building and scaling markets in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Deep expertise in performance marketing metrics including CPI, CPR, CPT, ROAS, LTV, retention, and full-funnel optimisation.
Data-driven leader with the ability to translate complex campaign data into actionable growth strategies and business outcomes.
Proven experience engaging and negotiating with senior leadership across brands, agencies, and strategic partners.
