The YCYW Alumni Network has more than 30,000 members throughout the world. Our graduates not only excel in their chosen fields; they also epitomise the values and spirit that define YCYW. In recognition of their outstanding achievements, we are delighted to announce that nominations for the 2026 YCYW Alumni Hall of Fame are now open!
The YCYW Alumni Hall of Fame was established in 2020 to honour alumni who have made outstanding contributions to their communities, and promote the spirit and legacy of YCYW. Each year, students and faculty from across all our campuses in Hong Kong SAR, Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Qingdao, Guangzhou, Zhejiang Tongxiang, Yantai, as well as Silicon Valley in the United States, come together via live stream for the celebration of our Founder’s Day and the presentation of this prestigious award.

This year, we invite you to participate in this cherished tradition by nominating alumni who epitomise the YCYW spirit:
Recognition: Shine a light on those whose accomplishments deserve to be celebrated.
Inspiration: Your nomination will inspire the next generation of YCYW students to follow in their footsteps.
Community: Strengthen the bonds that connect our global YCYW family by acknowledging the achievements that we all are proud of.
Who Is Eligible?
We would like to honour the following kinds of alumni:
YCYW alumni who:
Have graduated from a YCYW school or have completed at least one year of study at a YCYW school, and it has been a minimum of five years since their high school graduation.
Have achieved professional success and leadership in their industries and/or specialised area(s).
Have made significant and proven contributions to community services or philanthropy.
Have engaged in meaningful involvement with the YCYW community.
Embody the YCYW spirit.
Note: Each year, not more than five alumni will be selected from the nominations.
How to Nominate?
The nominating process is simple and meaningful:
On or before 15 August 2026, persons making the nomination(s) need to complete and submit the nomination form together with supplementary information about the nominee(s), including detailed descriptions and supporting evidence of professional achievements, community service, and contributions to the YCYW Community in particular.
Both self-nominations and nominations by YCYW faculty members, staff, students, alumni, parents, and friends are most welcome.

Inaugural Inductees

Second-Year Inductees
Mr Junhao Zhang (right) received the award on-site at YCIS Hong Kong.
Mr Junhao Zhang (YCIS Hong Kong, Class of 2004) and Mr Jialang Woo (YCIS Shanghai, Class of 2011) continued this tradition, They were recognised for outstanding contributions to their fields.
Mr Jialang Woo serves as the President of the YCYW Shanghai Alumni Council and has been actively involved in YCYW school activities.

Third-Year Inductees
This was a special year. Nine alumni who had studied during the era of “Hau Cheung Po Po” (Madam Tsang Chor-hang) time were honoured for their unwavering support of the YCYW community. They are Professor Tso Wung Wai, Professor Pong Ting Chuen, Professor Choy Min, Mr Anthony Tong Kai Hong, Mr Steven Yu, Ms Cindy Fung, Reverend Tsang Kwok Wai, Mr Lee Wai Bun, and Mr Kenneth Wang.

Fifth-Year Inductees
In 2024, the YCYW Alumni Hall of Fame welcomed two more distinguished alumni: Mr Andrew Chang (YCIS Shanghai, Class of 2012) and Dr Mengran Liu (YCCECE, Class of 2018).

Sixth-Year Inductees
In 2025, the YCYW Alumni Hall of Fame recognised three distinguished alumnae: Ms Haerim Jang (YCIS Beijing, Class of 2014), Ms Michel Mak (YCIS Hong Kong, Class of 2012) and Ms Kay Shi Qi Tu (YCIS Shanghai, Class of 2012).
