International Preschool Teacher (Full time)

As an International preschool Teacher, you will join our academic team to deliver high quality classes focusing on early learning milestones and key development stages focusing on the following key areas Art, Music, Physical, Language, Social, Recognition, Space, Nature, Introspection and providing academic services focusing on students from 1-4 years old, administering and reporting students’ learning progress, enabling students to reach their personal learning objectives and become competent users of English as a Foreign Language, while coordinating with other staff to maintain effective working relationships.
You have/are:
·Bachelor’s Degree (mandatory) AND
·Highly Preferred but not required: Major in one of the following areas
·Early Childhood Education, Instruction and Curriculum for Early Childhood Education, Administration for Early Childhood Programs, or another related Major.
·Master’s Degree a plus
·Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a preschool or other early learning center with students between the ages of 0-6 years old Preferably experience with students under 3 years old.
·Master’s Degree a plus
·Have a certificate from one or more of the following organizations: (Highly Preferred)
·Program for Infant/Toddler care (PITC) Pikler, Resources for Infant Educators (RIE), Childhood Development Associate (CDA) or equivalent.
·Have a minimum of 2 years working experience in relevant field
·Understanding of different preschool educational philosophies including; Literacy based, PBL, Montessori, Reggio, DAP
·Be able to pass a background check
·Computer literate in Microsoft Office
·Interpersonal skills and a service mindset, creativity and the ability to construct class materials and prepare professional lessons.
·Enjoy being with kids and passionate about the education and culture industry
·Able to adapt to change easily and be willing to try new things.
·Able to encourage students creativity and ensure playful learning is taking place.
You will:
·Be the key academic leader to help ensure training and curriculum development are taking place. Help lead the team.
·Prepare and carry out lessons as assigned by the School Director.
·Correct, record and administer progress reports for students
·Communicate students’ progress and action plans with parents via parent-teacher meetings
·Help edit, enhance and create new materials for classes and students.
·Carry out academic events including demo lessons, parent academy, open lessons and life club events.
·Attend teacher training presentations and workshops for professional development
·Substitute for absent colleagues, perhaps on short notice, on or off-site
·Occasionally work outside normal business hours for marketing or other school related event or training. (Only with advanced notice)
·Take part in seasonal school activities, shows, parent teacher meetings and Open Houses.
·Take initiative and be an active member of our center, take charge and be proactive.
Working Hours:
·Maximum 40 Working hours per week Monday-Friday approximately 9:00 am-17:30pm
·5 working days per week, 2 days off
·Occasional work outside normal hours with advanced notice including weekends for some open house or end of semester events.
