Chinese Copper Foil Maker Londian Files For US IPO
Chinese copper foil manufacturer Londian Wason New Energy Tech has filed for an initial public offering in the United States, seeking to capitalize on growing demand from electric vehicle makers.

Londian intends to list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange. Cantor, Huatai Securities, CMB International and US Tiger Securities are serving as lead underwriters for the offering. Pricing details have not yet been disclosed.

The company plans to use the proceeds to expand its global production capacity, fund research and development, and for general corporate purposes.

Londian swung to a net profit of 134.5 million yuan ($19.81 million) for the three months ended March 31, 2026, compared with a net loss of 68.4 million yuan a year earlier. Revenue more than doubled to 4.07 billion yuan from 1.91 billion yuan during the same period last year.

The filing follows last month's U.S. listing by China's DSC Holdings, adding to signs of a tentative recovery in Chinese IPO activity after years of geopolitical tensions between Washington and Beijing weighed on such offerings.
