Hongzhou Learning Visits Morocco and Tunisia
The International Education Fair in Morocco is co-organized by A2 and Flexyclass. It is the biggest education fair in Morocco, B being held twice a year with more than 4000 visitors each time. Due to the rising quality of education in both countries, more and more Moroccan students show great enthusiasm in studying in China.
From March 21st to 23rd, the four Chinese universities made an admission presentation in front of high school students. They also joined mini education fairs in three local high schools, as well as the formal education fair and forum held in the Farah Hotel. During the fair, Moroccan students surrounded the representative of the Chinese universities closely and actively asked about how to apply to study in China.
On 24th of March, Beijing Hongzhou Learning organized a visit to Berrechid High Business School ESB for the Chinese delegations. ESB Berrechid is a Moroccan Higher Education institution licensed by the Moroccan Ministry of Higher Education and also a branch of Cambridge Worldwide Academy in Morocco.
During the meeting, the universities’ delegations inquisitively asked about the students’ origins, their English level, and the courses they study. They expressed their interest to invite the top students from ESB to pursue their further degree in China. They also proposed to set up a cooperation in terms of student exchange, cooperation in running schools, an international foundation program, a short-term program etc. The representative from ESB also expressed their willingness to cooperate with Chinese universities in the above-mentioned fields.
On March 26th, the delegations of the four Chinese universities were invited to attend the China-Tunisia University Meeting in The National School of Engineering of Monastir. There were 20 universities and colleges participating in the meeting from Tunisia, such as: The National School of Engineering of Monastir, Monastir University, Avicenne Private Business School, The Faculty of Sciences of Monastir, Monastir Wood College, Trades of Fashion, Sport and Physical Education of Ksar Said and more.
At the meeting, representatives of four Chinese universities introduced their respective advantages in specialization, teaching methods, curriculum, school facilities and campus environment. Furthermore, they expressed their desire to accept excellent Tunisian students to study in China and to cooperate with Tunisian universities. At the same time, representatives of Tunisian universities and colleges interestedly asked about the advantages and specialties of the Chinese universities, the application process and other details. Moreover, they showed a strong willingness to cooperate with Chinese universities and send their students to study in China.
On March 27, 2019, Beijing Hongzhou Learning organized a visit to the Tunis El Manar University and the Higher Institute of Sport and Physical Education in Ksar Said. At Tunis El Manar University, representatives from the Chinese universities received a warm reception from professors, directors and doctoral students of the faculty of physics.
At the meeting, the Chinese universities showed a video to give a better image of their campus, facilities, teaching methods, advanced technology, school environment and some of their international students. The Tunisian school representatives expressed their eagerness to send their PhD students to the Chinese universities for professional training. They hope that they can joint-supervise doctoral students with Chinese universities and invite professors from China to teach in Tunis El Manar University. Also, they wish to send excellent students from Tunisia to pursue their graduate and doctoral degree in China. It would therefore not come as a surprise if, in the near future, the two sides will have student and teacher exchange programs, as well as a doctoral joint training program implemented.
