Happy National Day！

The National Day of the People's Republic of China is also known as "October", "National Day", and "National Day Golden Week". The Central People's Government of the People's Republic of China announced that since 1949, October 1 every year, the day when the People's Republic of China was proclaimed, is the National Day.    

The National Day of the People's Republic of China is a symbol of the country, which appeared with the founding of New China and became an important day. It became a symbol of an independent country, reflecting China's state system and political system. National Day is a new national holiday form which carries the function of reflecting the cohesion of Chinese nation. At the same time, the large-scale celebrations on National Day are also a concrete manifestation of the government's mobilization and appeal. There are four basic characteristics of National Day celebrations: showing national strength, enhancing national confidence, embodying cohesion, and exerting appeal.

National Day activities

1.Military Parade

After the founding of New China, according to the decision of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the military parade was listed as an important part of the National Day ceremony. Since September 1960, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council have implemented "a small celebration in five years and a major celebration in ten years, and a military parade is held every Daqing.

2.Lights up

Every National Day in China, enterprises and institutions will hang lanterns or banners to celebrate the National Day with slogans such as "Celebrate the National Day".

3.Flag Raising Ceremony

Every National Day, the national flag of the People's Republic of China is raised at 6:10.

4.National Day Holidary

Since 1999, National Day has been China's "Golden Week" holiday. The statutory vacation time for National Day is 3 days, and the two weekends before and after are adjusted to a total of 7 days of vacation; the Macau Special Administrative Region is 2 days, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region is 1 day.

On the National Day's eve, large flower beds are placed in the center of Tiananmen Square. The central large-scale flower bed named "Blessing the Motherland" is dominated by flower baskets with peony, magnolia, hibiscus, rose and other flowers inserted in the basket.
