Using Spotify in China (It’s Not Blocked!)
Unlike most of the popular Western news and social media websites, Spotify is not yet blocked in China! (At least it wasn’t at the time of writing this article in March 2019.)
Therefore you ‘re free to enjoy Spotify’s rich music collection with the use of a V P N – no matter where you’re located on the mainland!

Although there is one downside to using Spotify in comparison with a Chinese Music app – Spotify no longer supports real-time lyrics. But don’t fret! You can still pretend that you’re in a KTV bar or singing on stage (if that’s your thing.)
Simply download the Soundhound app to your phone.
Soundhound can detect any song that is playing out loud and display the lyrics on the song page. They even scroll along with the music, so you can sing along!
