Logan Industries, based in Hempstead Texas, has recently been awarded with an order for a Compensated Coiled Tubing Lift Frame (CCTLF) for Maersk Drilling, who owns one of the most modern drilling fleets and provides drilling services to oil companies around the world. The CCTLF system will be designed and built in-house and is expected to be delivered to Maersk in Q2 2016.

Logan Industries will supply a complete CCTLF system to Maersk Drilling, which includes an APV, a dedicated Hydraulic Power System, Emergency Shut Down equipment and a control package. The system will be certified under DNV E101 and D.R.O.P.S. and has been designed in accordance with API 8C and ANSI B31.3. The order also includes a CCTLF services contract, meaning Logan Industries will take care of service and preservation of Maersk Drilling’s CCTLF for the duration of the work.

The CCTLF will be installed on board the Maersk Voyager where it will be used for coiled tubing operations on the Offshore Cape Three Point Project offshore Ghana. This will make the fourth 750 ton static / 500 ton CCTLF that Logan Industries has built and positions Logan as the predominant leader in this specialized sub-sea completion category. It is the next order in an impressive line of orders Logan received from customers like Exxon Mobil, Chevron and BP.
