KOREA EXPORT CO-OP ORGANIC FOOD AND MATERIAL

We will try to contribute to promoting exports by developing export-tailored, high-efficiency eco-friendly agricultural materials.

Although the Korea Eco-Friendly Agricultural and Food Material Export Marketing Cooperative has just been established, it is trying to develop the export market by providing eco-friendly agricultural practices to Korean farmers, including Southeast Asia.

In our agricultural and rural areas, due to the expansion of market openings such as FTAs and instability of agricultural prices, Korean farmers are in a difficult situation due to poor farming. In addition, conditions for eco-friendly agriculture practice are poor due to frequent droughts or heavy rains in the long rainy season due to abnormal temperatures.In response, the association is focusing on developing and distributing organic ingredients to easily control pests, which are the biggest difficulties in practicing eco-friendly agriculture, and to help manage eco-friendly organic cultivation soil and nutrients.

Meanwhile, it is necessary to actively seek overseas expansion in the direction of overcoming the difficulties of the domestic eco-friendly agricultural material market, which has not escaped from stagnation. Recently, some eco-friendly fertilizers have been actively exporting eco-friendly agricultural materials such as soil improvement agents, organic liquid costs, sulfur, and biopharmaceuticals to Southeast Asia, South America, and Japan, including China, Vietnam, and India.

Together with these exporters, the association is striving to explore overseas export markets for eco-friendly agricultural materials in China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Pakistan, India, Cambodia, Ghana, Egypt, Mexico and Peru.In the future, we will develop eco-friendly agricultural materials exclusively for exports through government R&D research support, actively enter the International Agricultural Material Fair to build a promising overseas biological network, and hold an annual export consultation with BKF (Buy Korea Food and Agricultural) buyers to develop the export market.
