Thought we were done with art fairs this year? Well, you were wrong. Time Out break down ART021

What is it?

ART021 – a young art fair in its third year, founded by the alsoyoung art collectors Kelly Ying and Bao Yifeng in 2013.

Where?

Though the last two editions were held at the National Industrial Bank building on Huqiu Lu, this year expands into the Shanghai exhibition center in Jingan.

When?

Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November

How much?

150RMB

What will we see?

Some prestigious galleries will be taking part, including Pace, which has branches in New York, Hong Kong, London and Beijing; Xu Zhen’s MadeIn Gallery from Shanghai; and Gagosian, that has galleries in europe, America and Asia. The 1+1 section sees artists curating solo shows of other artists they love, group shows, and works of emerging artists. This includes Magda Danysz Gallery (Paris/ Shanghai/London), christine Park Gallery from London and Beijing’s Magician Space.

Anything else we should know?

An official after party takes place at art collector Qiao Zhibing’s Shanghai Night’s KTV club with QT performing. It’s invite only, but visit our website for a chance to win one of ten tickets that we’re giving away.
