15 Rooms at the Long Museum is a tour de force of performance art. Co-curated by Klaus Biesenbach (director of MoMA PS1) and Hans Ulrich Obrist (co-director of the Serpentine Gallery), it's a high-profile exhibition that gives you the chance to come face-to-face with pioneering performance artworks, inside the 15 rooms that have been specially installed in the museum. And you get to see Chinese shuaige (handsome men) bathing in milk. GO NOW.

The Bicycle Film Festival will be stopping in China for the first time, showing a range of screenings of movies from the last 30 years, including Frédéric Favre’s Cyclique, Bikelordz about the self-invented bicycle BMX culture in Ghana, My Ride on Britain’s only female Muslim bicycle group and more.

Dream pop trio Postiljonen join fellow Scandinavians Pandreas, Einar Stray and Siv Jakobsen at Yuyintang for a night of indie rock, electronic beats and low-key folk. The visiting artists will also be collaborating with Chinese musicians during their time in Shanghai, so don't be surprised if some of them pop up on stage too.

Shanghai Oriental Arts Centre, Friday 6 - Saturday 7 November

The latest work from the wildly creative 1927, this story features an animated clay man and a series of colourful characters. In the company's barbed comment on technology, protagonist Rob buys Golem as his assistant, and watches as he takes over his life. Not to be missed.
