Going back to work get you down? Monday night is burger night in Shanghai - here are four good deals to tempt you with.
Every Monday from 3pm until close Nanjing Xi Lu's Beef &Liberty have buy one get one free burgers (and what burgers). Options rangefrom the fantastic bacon cheese (92RMB; beef with cheddar cheese and smokedbacon), which was number three on Time Out's best burgers in Shanghai list, andblack pepper hamburger (89RMB; beef, crushed peppercorns, rocket, cheddarcheese, barbecue sauce), to lamb (88RMB) and chicken (68RMB) variants.

Still not had enough of Yongkang Lu after the weekend? In that case, head to Sliders for their Monday night special of any two slider burgers plus a pint of Stella Artois for 50RMB - a combo that would usually set you back about double that. They whip up beef, chicken and veggie options here, but we reckon the blue cheese slider stands out most.

A 2014 newcomer to Hongmei Lu's 'Lao Wai Jie', Fat Cow has made a big impression with its good quality burgers, shakes and chilli caramel fried chicken. They have a daily happy hour 2-8pm, which is ideal for mixing with their Monday BOGOF deal on burgers.

Reliable chain Blue Frog have one of the more extensiveburger menus in the city, but it’s the Montana that we always find ourselvesordering (another entry on our best burgers list). Buy one drink from 4-8pm andyou can get a free refill as well as their burger buy-one-get-one-free dealstarting from 78-118RMB (charge the pricier one).
