Jean Georges Vongerichten's signature restaurant on The Bund will be closing for renovations on Sunday 22 November, making this weekend your last chance to check out the old space's dark wood and copper interior.

It's also your last chance to experience JG's delicious creations at his long-running Three on the Bund stronghold until February 2016, when his namesake outlet is set to reopen - though of course you can still head to his Italian joint Mercato and his wife's Korean outlet Chi-Q in the same building.
Jean-Georges has been earmarked for a makeover for some months now - with the initial plan to commence the redesign earlier this year - but the time has finally come to say goodbye to the classic space. Neri & Hu, who are responsible for numerous stylish restaurant interiors around town (including the aforementioned Three on the Bund venues) will be at the helm for the revamp - we look forward to seeing what they come up with when it reopens after Chinese New Year.
In the meantime, you might want to book one last brunch at the old space this Sunday...
