Kick the Gong Around are back with their sixth creative lifestyle event. This time, celebrate the arrival of spring with their Fantastical Botanical Spring Festival inspired by the season's sights, scents and sounds, including gentle blooms and buzzing insects at former abattoir 1933. The two-day event promises happy vibes through a bazaar of artisanal food and drinks, a curated selection of goods from local designers and craft makers, plus workshops and lectures.

Spanish eatery El Willy at Bund 22 has just launched its Menu No. 10, featuring killer specials like the Sexy Boston Lobster Snacks (118RMB) and the 1kg lamb shoulder cooked on the El Willy BBQ and served with potato, peeled tomatoes and Jerez (448RMB).



Meanwhile, Pizza Express (all branches) have also launched a new spring/summer menu offering fresh new salads, appetisers and pizzas including a moreish Char Siu pizza, with chunks of succulent char siu pork on a bechamel base with sesame and pineapple chutney.

The Surf Coasters

Renowned Japanese surf rock outfit The Surf Coasters are coming to China for the very first time having built up a wave of support for their Dick Dale-influenced sound (even playing once with the man himself) over the course of a 20-year career. Shanghai's own surf rock leaders The Psyders provide support, along with rockers Round Eye.
