MR GAY CHINA competition, inspired by "Mr Gay World", devotes to build a bright and positive image to convey our gay group value to straight people and to encourage gay people to make an effort to establish positive image and make a contribution to our society. 

Meanwhile, the competition also focuses on China's AIDS prevention and the poverty of gay students. We promise to spread the knowledge of safe sex and to provide funds for gay students in poverty to go to college or study aboard.

"MR GAY CHINA" 2016 season 1 will be held in the most fashionable and international city - Shanghai. It's divided into preliminary contest, semi-final and final. Contest will begin with national registration which will be in May, and preliminary contest will begin in early July. By the display of participants' talents, personality, intelligence, physical strength and body shape, voters from internet and on site will select the model of gay China. And the winners will represent China to compete in Mr Gay World Organization directly.

The organizing committee of “MR GAY CHINA” 2016 consists of gay celebrities, organizations, companies and sponsors. The winners will not only be rewarded with a trophy, prize and aboard travelling, but also get the chance to have a personal photo book and become the prolocutor of Angel charity funds and other non-profit events or commercial events. The income of this competition will partially join some non-profit projects and be supervised by the public.

Requirements

All participants must be 18-years-old or above, with positive attitude and good spirit, a love for healthy life, and confidence.

Contest content

Appearance and physique display, talent show, mind quiz. The format of preliminary contest, semi-final, and final will be adjusted if needed.

To ensure the fairness of this competition, the result of each match consists of three parts:

1.  Organizing committee from all brands（10%）

2.  Popularity votes from internet（20％）

3. Audience votes on site（70％）
