Conceived by China’s most famous composer Tan Dun (whose glittering CV includes the scores for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Hero), Water Heavens is a spectacular music performance that takes place every Saturday beside the central canal in Zhujiajiao.
Musicians stomp and splash their way through a mix of classical and contemporary music, utilising the water that has been diverted into the performance area along with more traditional instruments to create their sounds.
Now we’re giving you the opportunity to experience this hugely entertaining show for free – and as a VIP no less. We’ve got six special VIP passes to give away to forthcoming performances of Water Heavens; all you have to do to enter is leave a comment on our website with your name, postal address and telephone number (we won't publish these details).
