Big bra news – Victoria's Secret are opening a brand new flagship store on Huaihai Lu, and it will sell actual lingerie. This is news, as some of you may remember that last year we reported on a now old new store opening in Raffles shopping centre, which was an 'accessories and beauties' outlet and only sold a few pairs of knickers and no bras, which was obviously a bit annoying as lingerie is kind of the brand's USP.
We have it on good authority that it the Raffles store will be remaining open alongside the new 'full assortment' store which is likely to open towards the end of 2016 'at the earliest', meaning the hashtag #freethenipple is still good to use for the time being. The new Victoria's Secret is due to replace the Louis Vuitton shop by the Hong Kong Plaza, because bras > bags.
