See a GoPro video of the slide at the bottom of this post
The weather gods may not have been with us, but luckily around 150 Time Out readers were able to have a taster of Slide The City, this summer's biggest attraction (or longest, at least).

Our VIPs made the most of the sliding time they had (as well as the free flow Corona). And what about that slide? At 150-metres long, you can certainly get some speed - check out the video below.
Tips
Make sure you take some beach-appropriate footwear - flip flops or sandals. Also, make sure you have some cash handy, as you have to pay a 100RMB deposit plus 30-40RMB to obtain one of the floats that you need to use the slide. It's also best to pick up your rubber rings early before the queues get too long.

We were using the GoPro Hero 4 silver. Many thanks to GoPro.
