In some last-minute nightlife news, Boiler Room is returning to Shanghai this Thursday night with none other than Skrillex heading up the bill.
The dubstep superstar, who is in town for this weekend's impending Storm Festival, will make his Boiler Room debut alongside locally-based acts Zean, Conrank, Damacha, Cavia and LA-based Blaise James.
As with the first Shanghai Boiler Room back in May, the free night will be hosted at a secret venue that will be revealed to ticket holders on the day of the show.
And how do you get those free tickets? At the moment, it seems the only way to be in with a chance is to enter the competition on d'ART's WeChat (dART_festival).
If the choice of headliner seems surprising given Boiler Room's 'underground' tagline, it may be partly explained by the night being put on in conjunction with the International Music Summit (IMS) that is hosting their Asia Pacific conference this week, where Skrillex is also appearing.
If you don't end up joining the awkward-looking dudes getting themselves some screen time in the room itself, you can of course watch the show live via the Boiler Room website.
Here's the schedule:
20:00-21:00 Blaise James
21:00-22:00 Damacha
22:00-23:00 Cavia
23:00-00:15 Zean b2b Conrank
00:15-01:15 Skrillex
