Last night some lucky souls were able to experience the sheer horror of Scream Shanghai thanks to Time Out Shanghai and Popper at a special one-off night of thrills. Check out these photos from the night.
Scream Shanghai is really not one for the faint-hearted. Located within Pulupulu Theme Game Hall (do not be deceived by its cute name), you get to experience not one but three haunted houses.
Thai horror film fans will be delighted to know that the haunted houses are modeled after three famous flicks – Count Down, Shutter and Pee Mak, which are given ratings based on their respective scare levels.
Highlights included an immersive 3D experience in Countdown with (spoiler alert) ghosts jumping out of the walls, a puzzling escpaing from the creeping ghosts in Shutter, and the full five-star scare-fest of Pee Mak - we wouldn't want to spoil the scares, so you'll have to go along and experience it for yourself.
If you missed the exclusive event invite hosted by TimeOut Shanghai and Popper, tickets to the event range from 98RMB to 248RMB (weekday and weekend prices differ, you can choose to experience one house or all three).
