The Fleshtones

The Fleshtones
Friday 23, 9pm, Yuyintang, 80RMB
They played their first show at CBGB (and were one of the last bands to play the hallowed gig spot), once shared a practice room with The Cramps (but were the ones kicked out for making too much noise) and have worked with everyone from Steve Albini to Sir Ian McKellen. Over the course of 40 years in the game, there’s not much for New York garage rockers The Fleshtones to check off of their wish list, but this weekend sees them add another first – their debut show in Shanghai.

All stock must go, which means there are some deals to be had. 20RMB for Heineken, wine, and mixed drinks, craft beer and premium spirits (while they last) for 25RMB, and their signature Cock-a-doodle-brew is 30RMB all day.
