The retreat concludes with the iconic experience of Afternoon Tea, reliving the bygone era when ladies gathered in Shanghai’s tea pavilions. Afternoon Tea is presented in a two-tier tower of sweet and savoury treats.

Savoury delicacies include liver parfait with prune and rye, chicken and truffle pretzel, and smoked salmon and cream cheese brioche. Sweet temptations include financier with raspberry and fennel seed, lemon meringue and fresh scones with whipped cream and preserves. To accompany the gourmet delights, guests choose their preferred beverage from a selection of specialty teas and coffees.
