

Pac-12 Conference, the leader in collegiate athletics that is made up of 12 most prestigious universities in the Western United States, has announced the next Pac-12 game to be held in China will be at the Mercedes-Benz Arena on November 12. The game will feature the men’s basketball teams from two of the world’s top universities, Stanford and Harvard.
This is the second year Pac-12 has hosted its basketball season in China after last year’s successful Pac-12 China saw a close match up between Texas and Washington, with the game finishing 71-77.
This year, the world’s largest online commerce company Alibaba Group will be sponsoring the affair, giving student-athletes an amazing opportunity to bring their sports talents in full play while experiencing cultural exchange.
Stanford has been awarded America’s most successful collegiate athletics program for 22 consecutive years and has 36 varsity sports teams. This year will be the team’s first season under their new head coach Jerod Haase. On the other side, Harvard men’s basketball have produced NBA guard Jeremy Lin, have won five Ivy League titles and made four NCAA Tournament appearances under their head coach Tommy Amaker.
