[Ad] THE PLACE hosts Shanghai's first Zootopia mall exhibition

From November 4, 2016 to January 8, 2017, THE PLACE, a family-friendly mall in Shanghai’s Changning district, will co-operate with Disney to create Shanghai’s first Zootopia-themed in-mall exhibition.

THE PLACE will recreate classic movie scenes from Zootopia, delivering an outstanding visual experience with interactive displays. Zootopia fans can apply for an exclusive visa to Zootopia, with official Disney approval, to enter this enchanting animal world. Meanwhile, three thematic mobile games have been created, which are available for a limited time only, and fans can collect special edition Zootopia rewards for playing these games.

The instalment will feature the following attractions:

 - Train Station and Big Screen: This installation vividly recreates train station of Zootopia, while the big screen imitating the billboard at downtown Zootopia will play the music video for the film’s song, “Try Everything”, to immediately immerse guests in the atmosphere of Zootopia.

• ZPD Office: Fans of arts and crafts will enjoy their time during a special workshop in the ZPD office. Meanwhile, those who want to participate in police training can take part in the ZPD Entry Test to compete with Judy forthe title of “Best Police Officer”.

• DMV Office: Bringing to life the office of Flash, fans of the "fastest" three-toed sloth can’t miss out on this visit to the DMV. Guests can receive a QR code from Flash (acted out by our staff) to begin the mobile game. Guests are also welcome to ask him to take a photo – but they should take note that it may take some time…

  
  

  
   

• Pop-up Store: Not only can visitors take great selfies inside the train, but Disney fans and collectors can browse and purchase Zootopia souvenirs and other Disney character merchandise. We refresh our stock every week to ensure different limited offers and a unique experience for each guest.

  
  

• Along with the Spinning Donut, we also rebuilt the Little Rodentia, where Mr. Big’s daughter goes shopping and where Judy arrested Duke Weaselton.

As for the three customized mobile games, they are: “Be A Super Star”, “Be A Traffic Police”, and “Finding Mr. Big”.

- Be A Super Star: Upload your selfie to our big screen in the lobby, and enjoy being a superstar like Gazelle.

- Be A Traffic Police: Want to get an idea of Judy’s work? Log in, scan the 12 hidden car plates, and let’s see how much like Judy you can be.

- Finding Mr. Big: Mr. Big, the fearsome crime boss in Tundratown, often gets randomly lost in different shops or restaurants of The Place. Visitors are encouraged to follow the instructions to help find him and complete the mission.

Participants who accomplish the goals of all three games will be awarded an exclusive gift. Meanwhile, to educate as well as to entertain, The Place has invited Disney English to host games such as the “Dubbing Contest” for young children to discover their hidden talents.
