This autumn is a big one for dance music festivals in Shanghai. Just as the mammoth Storm festival has blown its way through town, the city has three more dance music festivals coming up for you to get your teeth into.
First up, it's fittingly a STORM spin-off (no, they haven't loosened their grip on the city just yet) in the form of the beach-themed Corona Sunsets Festival on October 22. Sam Feldt, Sigala, The Him and Jose Padilla are on the bill thus far - it ought to be a fun afternoon and evening out by the river, albeit with the obligatory heavy branding and the like. Last year's festival was free but involved scanning a Corona QR Code around town beforehand - we'll update you with more info when we have it.
Also at the end of this month is the Shanghai debut for Beijing-born INTRO Festival, and they've got impressive headliners in the form of the much-loved DJ Koze and Detroit techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson. It may be at the concretey Expo Park site like so many festivals, but it's a strong line-up across two stages featuring international and local talent from beyond the EDM sphere. Get the full lowdown on our website.

Perhaps the biggest fest of the lot will be November's Electric Zoo: Countdown Shanghai. It's the China debut for the massive New York-based EDM festival - they hosted Hardwell, Tiesto, Porter Robinson and others this year. No line-up details just yet (their website just shows giant octopus tentacles descending on Lujiazui), but we're guessing they're going to pull in some big names for the occasion. Expect animal-themed performers, a giant octopus stage and other animalistic entertainment too.
