Do you like your food festivals with a tinge of mud and classic rock? Well you might be in luck, as the Woodstock of Eating festival is coming to Shanghai for the first time, bringing together street food vendors, craftspeople, designers and music.
The globally-minded festival, which made its Beijing debut last year, places a focus on bringing a carnival atmosphere to the big city while uniting international and local forms of fun. We'll stick our index and pinky up to that. Here's a smiley three-second taster:

Woodstock of Eating's Shanghai theme is 'refined streetfood and culture jam' - we look forward to tasting the culture jam - and will be held on The Bund next weekend. There will be 120 lifestyle and creative brands will be in attendance, along with 60 food and drink vendors.
Whilst the name may seem like a lot to live up to, the festival came out with rave reviews after its Beijing outings. It sounds like something worth checking out - and you can get tickets by clicking 'read more' below.
Woodstock of Eating is October 28-30 on The Bund. Tickets are 25RMB through Time Out Tickets.
