With the rainy season about to launch itself upon us, going for a run outside might sound a bit unappealing. But fear not, joggers who go round and round, because sports giant Nike has launched a pair of ‘stealth hubs’ on Huaihai Lu, offerings sports fans an indoor gym outside stylish department store Lane Crawford.

The chic Nike+ Run Club gyms are designed to bring runners together in a sports community (and sell trainers, we suspect). Inside the hexagonal and oh-so-stylish hubs, sports fans can expect an 'extraterrestrial setting' and lots of bright lights, plus treadmills, technical demos, screens to monitor your progress and professional advice about healthy living.

Alright, it might be a bit gimmicky, but it’s also a chance to go for an inside workout for free. Register online or at the hub itself, or find out more at the Nike+ website nike.com/cn/zh_cn.
