Tickets are on sale now for Concrete and Grass Festival - quite possibly the best festival the city will see all year - and you can buy them through Time Out Tickets by clicking 'read more' at the bottom of this post.
After the name changes and the cancellations, the festival gets underway at Shanghai Rugby Club on the weekend of Mid-Autumn Festival (Friday 16-Saturday 17 September) with an excitingly diverse line-up, a host of food and drink stalls, fun activities across the site and a chilled out, family-friendly vibe.
The powers that be may have decided that they don’t want Nelly getting hot in herre, but Concrete and Grass still has a hip hop star on the bill – and this one’s on the rise. A$AP Ferg (pictured above) has had a huge year on the back of his Always Strive and Prosper album, which marries club-ready trap-influenced beats with some raw and personal rhymes. Other headliners include Cantopop star Edison Chen, British indie boys The Cribs, world renowned beatmaker DJ Premier and former-Pavement frontman Stephen Malkmus with his band The Jicks.

Early bird tickets sold out in just three hours. The next round of ticketing features advanced passes priced at 180RMB for students, 230RMB for adults and 360RMB for a two-day pass - you can buy those below; after that prices on the door will be 230, 300 and 440RMB in those same categories.
