Sean Jorgensen and DJ PCJ kick off the first in the four-part event BEATS + BITES, presented by Bonobo and Social Supply. Each installment of the series pairs a Shanghai chef with a DJ and is, in their own words, "celebrating the intersection of food x music". This inaugural dinner starts off hard with "dirrty south cookin'" and old skool hip hop. So basically, listen to some great jams while tucking into some solid grub. We're down.

The UK-founded, hugely influential and forward-thinking label Night Slugs presents a special all-day event featuring Kingdom heading up the performances. There'll be food stalls and shops too before things migrate westwards as Bok-Bok, L-Vis 1990 and Kingdom take over Arkham for the night. It's a stellar line-up of UK talent.

PCJ and Frau bring in Berlin based Korean artist Peggy Gou. First through a regular stream of high quality mixes and now with her first EP Art of War, her sound sits somewhere between Detroit, London and Berlin. Her DJ sets are a kinetic combination of dark, pulsing house and techno, broken beats and abstract compositions. Support from the Social Club duo.

VOID have been a shining light in Shanghai's techno world for longer than most of the clubs they play in have existed, and now they're celebrating their ninth birthday. They will be unleashing the beat with a seven-hour performance from all crew members - Sh_Ultra, MHP, Nat Alexander, Nmlss, Provoda and Wensen.
