[Ad] Felix Da Housecat returns to Bar Rouge on Friday 17 March

Born and raised in Chicago, Felix's career as a DJ and Producer took off via UK labels like Willian Orbit's Guerilla imprint and later Damian Lazarus's City Rockers for his award-winning 'Kittenz And Thee Glitz' album.

Mostly known for house music and electro, he is in it for the art. As Felix puts it, 'you can always tell money music from heart music'. Having worked with some of the most well-known names like P. Diddy and Nile Rodgers, he's now in a stage in his life where he just focuses on making what he likes. 'I'm going to say this in the least Kanye way possible – and I love Kanye West, I'm from Chicago! – but I've come to a stage in my life where I've proved and done everything I have done as "Felix from 'Fantasy Girl'" on through the streets of techno, so I don't have to prove myself to the new generation. I make what I like and  try not to get caught up.'
