Luckily, Shanghai's transport authorities have released a revamped metro service intervals schedule detailing the approximate waiting times between trains for each of the 14 metro lines.
'Highlights' include a dreamy minimum wait of two and a half minutes during morning peak hours on Line 4 and an even shorter two minutes 15 seconds on Line 6. We recommend you avoid using Line 16 and Line 3 towards the end of operating hours as you could be in it for the long haul.
